Ink
Words & Music by Brooke Lunderville, 2009.
Everyone makes such a big deal about the permanence of tattoos. But when a friend with a tattoo died, I was struck by how ephemeral they are - the family was stuck sorting through all the random possessions he'd acquired, but the tattoo was gone with his body.

I have three tattoos, for the record! One of them is a banjola on my knee. (I am not from Alabama, however.)

In the recording it says "the name of your mother," but I think lover is funnier.

MP3 recording of Ink.

So the "E thing" chord is G, E, Bb, B, E. G minor 6th? E minor 11th? I'm terrible at chord names.
